Hmm, I think that Dark Link, the final boss of Zelda II, is the hardest. Although the boss RIGHT before Dark Link comes in a close second.

vizwiz123 : Yeah I agree with you. Dark Link was a pain int he @$$ to beat! Cause he deflects every move. *sigh* .. it took almost a week just to beat him! And I'd say the second hardest boss would be the twins in the Spirit Temple only cause you have to have perfect aiming to get a direct hit..I struggled with it for awhile but eventually beat it.

Dark Link wasn't even a boss. And, after you figure out how to use Din's Fire, Hammer, and non-targeted swings effectively, Dark Link was never too much of a problem to beat. Frankly, I wish more bosses were at his level of difficulty.

vizwiz123 : Dark Link probably is the hardest. However, I have never played that deep into the game to say anything. The hardest for me is Ganon in the Oracle games. First you have to go through Twinrova and then face him. I have yet to beat him.

I think they made the Twilight Princess bosses a lot weaker. The game was great, but the bosses were more for showing off the graphics than challenging the player.

Dark Link in Zelda II was definitely a beast. I also remember playing Ocarina of Time for the first time and having a lot of trouble with Gohma because that was the first time I'd ever picked up a N64 controller. lol

He kept on shooting his magic electric stuff at me, and I'd just stand there and take it because I didn't know what else to do. I would take as many fairies in a bottle as I could before entering that boss room, but I still died withing five minutes. It took me forever to realize I could deflect the magic with the sword. Good times.
