In this show, Death founded the Death Meister Weapon Academy, AKA the DWMA. Here, Meisters are paired with their human weapon (they transform), and they learn how to fight off Keishans. It's strange, so you'd better just introduce yourself to it. If you're in the USA, you can catch the very amazing English dub on Netflix. If not, then I dunno. In any case, this is a must watch.

If you do give it a watch, please watch more than the first 4 episodes, because they're... sub-par.

I give Soul Eater a 5 out of 5, for having great action, some very funny scenes, and excellent character development.

Yeah, Soul Eater is by far one of my favorite anime (and since we are on the topic of Code Geass, it is my TOP favorite). I was planning on making a soul eater layout for when we are allowed again aswell. I was not aware that Soul was played by the same voice actor as Ichigo.

Rasenganfan2 : I agree Soul Eater is AWESOME! Black-star is so arrogant it's funny and Soul is so laid back that it makes the anime interesting. Lord Death and Death scythe are funny too, especially when Death scythe gets all protective over his daughter.
Or like when Soul called Maka flat chested and her dad got all mad at him for not being attracted to his daughter! The whole anime just ROCKS!

As much as I love the anime, it kind of peetered out toward the end for me. I thought it was really amazing at the beginning, setting up some very interesting stories, that in the end kind of failed to deliver. But from what I hear, the anime drifted away from the manga somewhat. I also hear they are redoing the series, kind of like with Full Metal Alchemist and FMA: Brotherhood, in an effort to make it closer to the manga. Excited!
