I'm a mom and I play these games with my son. He really enjoys them,and is good at them,but I'm still learning how this works. We ran out of viz, I took the Newbie quiz and genuinely tried my best, but failed, losing many Viz. I find this kind of system unfriendly and unwelcoming. All I want to do is enjoy these games with my son. What is it that I'm not understanding? Can someone please help me "get it"?

I just noticed that you replied at the tread about "how to earn viz", and that you asked how often you have to post. Well, that depends on you, you can earn Viz by posting, but keep in mind that they must not be spammy posts(that means to avoid off topic comments, less than 5 words posts etc).
Just try to read thoroughly David's suggestion at that thread("how to earn viz"), and I'm sure you'll do it fine

Hi, welcome! You can PM David (the owner) and ask for a 2nd chance. The quiz is not that difficult, just take a time to read the rules and you'll make it. You can also visit the market for some extra Viz (https://www.vizzed.com/vizzedboard/forum.php?id=16 )or make a US$ 10 donation and be awarded 10,000 viz, and I think (I'm not sure, though) that setting Vizzed as your homepage makes you get some Viz. When you became a regular member you can get up to 20 Viz per post (if they are +100 words long, I guess). Creating nice threads also helps, you get 10 Viz always someone replies to your thread. Since I know that having kids around can take a lot of one's free time I'll send you 200 viz, like Noelia did. But, if you need more, you'd better starting posting, as Noelia advised you. Or starting donating

It's sort of touching actually, no lie.
Anyway, sorry that you are feeling unwelcomed. Trust me, there are plenty of ways to earn Viz outside of the quiz, and the games generally don't require much Viz anyway. Heck you even get 100 Viz for visiting for the day.
As the other two have done, I, too, will lend some Viz and hope that makes you feel a little more welcomed.
