Be they classics or new franchises, Square Enix has always managed to string me along with great games. Aside from a few bad calls *cough*FinalFantasyX-2*cough*, Square has shown its dedication to greatness with Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts. The odd man out for me is the Mother saga, or EarthBound outside of Japan. Ness' adventure in EarthBound was both hilarious and epic, and deserves all of the praise it receives. Now that I've started playing Mother 3, I can kind of understand why it was never released in America. That game is harsh on the emotions (and sometimes the eyes thanks to the Magypsies). Nevertheless, Mother 3 is still a great game and does bring the entire series to a close at the end.

I have a ton of RPG games I like to play like Final Fantasy VII & VIII. The one that I like more than any other would be Star Ocean Till the End of Time. I highly suggest SO3 because it's long, the story is good, and epic boss fights. There is a lot to the game and very cool characters too.
