I'm pretty picky when it comes to my video games. I guess that's why I haven't played as many games as other people. I'm not sure what to classify games like DK, Mario, and Spyro the Dragon but I like those kinds of games. But I like RPGs more than any game type. Pokemon and Final Fantasy are among my favorites.

Well i don't try to rule out any genre's, but my top two favorites are fighting games and RPG's. I love fighting games for the thrill of fighting and thinking on your feet, and sometimes pulling off that seemingly impossible comeback, or destroying a spammer. I love RPG's for the sense of development i get from it, the sense that im the one making my character develop in the paths I want, and then use that effectively in battle...though i gotta say im something of a sucker for the more action oriented RPG's like Elder Scrolls
