Well if you mean Super Mario Bro's USA but in Japan known as スーパーはスーパーマリオブラザーズ。USA. Other wise the Jappanese version of Super Mario Bros. 2 that is known as the lost levels here is スーパーマリオブラザーズ2.

(super mario bros 4 super mario world in Japan) super mario bros 2 for the NES had some differences. in japan its called doki doki panic (odd game). although there was one that got to be a sequel...and it is doki doki panic (I think). is super mario land a sequel?
