As a traditional "fighting" game, I'd say Dragonball Z budokai tenkaichi 3...

Although without a doubt, Smash Bros (Melee and Brawl) are my true fighting faves.

I absolutely love basically all of the Mortal Kombat games (mainly Armageddon and MK4), the Super Smash Bros series, and the Tekken series (mainly 2,3,and 5), and all of the Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z fighting games except for the first Budokai because it only had like three playable characters to start with.

I would have to go with the Super Smash Bros. series. Ever since the front I was facinated with the fact that mario could go out and KILL! Pikachu, I thought that it was so cool that there was such a large mix of characters.
