Hey guys, I'm new so bare with me if this is in the wrong place or if this is a stupid question.
I am trying to play Mario 64. I have the plugin and all that. The problem is the game requires full screen mode. It says to hit "alt+Enter" for full screen but that does nothing. I'm wondering if there is another way to get full screen or what exactly the problem is. Thanks in advance for any help. I am trying to play Mario 64. I have the plugin and all that. I don't think there is a full screen option...
I'll move this to it's place. (moved) table.srTg A:link, table.srTg A:visited, table.srTg A:active, table.srTg A:hover{ text-decoration:none; font-size: 0.9em; font-weight:bold;} table.srTg{ color: #dddddd; background: url('http://dl.gamesradar.com/photos/Cliches/animalswithattitude-1024x768%20copy.jpg') #1b1b1b; background-position: bottom right; background-attachment: fixed; background-repeat: repeat; } .RtFe, .RtFes { font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; } .RtFe {font-size:13px} .RtFes table.srTg z {font-size: .8em; font-weight: bold;} .YhEk2 {background:#202020; background: url(upload/files/alextdbg2.png); padding-left: 5px; } .YhEkh {background:#DDDDDD; background: url(upload/files/tdbg1.png); font-weight: bold;} .center {text-align:center} .FlRG {border-top: #000000 1px solid;width:100%; border-left: #000000 1px solid; width:100%; color: #DDDDDD;} td.Fgw {border-right: #000000 1px solid; border-bottom: #000000 1px solid;} td.Fgw a:visited, td.Fgw a:link {color:#DDDDDD;} td.Fgw a:active, td.Fgw a:hover {color:#FFFFFF;}

I don't think Vizzed has a full screen feature. You could try zooming in. That may increase the game window, but I'm not sure. I haven't played much N64 here. To manually zoom, hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and scroll up or down using the wheel on your mouse. Scrolling up zooms in. This works with most programs including internet browsers. Theoretically, when you zoom in the game window will increase, but the game it is displaying will stay the same size. That way more of the game's screen will be visible. This is the best idea I can think of. I don't think Vizzed has a full screen feature. You could try zooming in. That may increase the game window, but I'm not sure. I haven't played much N64 here. There are MANY other users asking the same thing he is.
What he is referring to is an error message that appears on screen. When the game starts, sound is heard, but no picture is displayed. Instead, a gray screen is show that says: Glide64 Gfx cannot be drawn in windowed mode Press Alt+Enter to switch to fullscreen This is what he is referring to by "fullscreen mode." He's looking for a way to fix the issue, not to actually make the game fullscreen. I'm currently plagued by the same issue, as well as the majority of the other n64 players. Well Starfox64 worked for me when I used it for the Close Call screenshot competition. My only other thought would be to right click on the screen to see if there are any useful options. Yes some games do work. Try Super Mario 64 or Yoshi's Story. Both of those give this error. Right-click appears to be disabled by this error screen, anyway. Yes some games do work. I'm a telecommunications graduate so I know a good bit about computers. It seems it is a mishap in the programming on the site which will happen when you have so many games. Since I posted this I have just downloaded the game and an emulator. I have no problems with it. I can play in full screen or in the smaller screen.
My best educated guess is that this is a problem on certain computers or more likely certain graphic cards. Therefore some users will experience this problem and some won't. Vizzed can't accommodate every user for every game. Too many different computers and graphic cards. All I would suggest of Vizzed in the near future, and this may not be feasible, is that they disable the message. The message is what drove me crazy. It may be believe there was a way to play it when in reality I can't. I spent a long while tinkering and trying everything I could think of to get full screen. Also the only emulation that i have found to allow fullscreen from the web page is the snes game because they use znes which given its age is still an impressive piece of software. I am sure eventully they will make the other cabable to. till then just be paitiant and enjoy all these awsome old school games -------------------- |
