I know this isn't the christian chat room, but I believe that depending on where are heart is, so will be where we go. God said in the Bible that all we had to do to get to Heaven was truly know that Jesus is the Son of God and to have that chiseled on our hearts and we would be in Heaven with him when we died. But God does want a true relationship with us, not just a belief to get to Heaven.

It sucks to know the truth, doesn't it? I mean, going to heaven or hell makes no logical sense. We're most likely going to rot underground.

That doesn't mean be a bad person though. I mean, would you rather be remembered as a good samaritan or as an evil-doer?

I believe in rebirth, from a scientific perspective, energy cannot be destroyed merely it changes through different processes. Given that everyone has energy within them it 'must' go somewhere and to me it seems logical for this life energy to create new life. So yes, I do believe in an afterlife...

Well I don't want to just fade away, but I'm kind of borderline on religion. I have had some experiences lately that make me think Catholicism has some truth to it, but I'm gay so I'm probably going to heck (censored per Vizzed rules) when I die.

I'm pretty content on thinking that whatever happens in the afterlife, will be fine and well with me. If there is a heaven or hell, and I'm sent to heaven, I'll be happy. If I go to hell, I'll be with all the people I know so there's at least that comfort of familiarity even if it is a burning torment. If I'm stuck in some sort of purgatory, it'll be interesting because to me it'll probably feel like I'm not dead (awesome! ) and if there's no afterlife and when you die, that's the end of it, then at least I'll have the comfort of knowing I'll get some rest. If we are reincarnated, then I can have fun pondering what I will be in the next life. Really, I can't think of any negative feelings I have thinking about what happens after death, because I'm not set on any particular viewpoint. I find everyones opinions, faiths, and beliefs fascinating.

I honestly don't think there is one. I think when we die we just stop, our bodies turn to dust, etc.. So I prefer to make the most of now, that way I have no regrets.
