Mine was when I fought a hippie with a toothbrush and a baseball bat. AND WON.
Bribing a corrupt mayor and fighting possessed policemen, old people, and tiny UFOs was also pure awesomesauce.

I haven't had an Earthbound moment, mainly because I haven't played it in a while. I got frustrated when I had to fight the pogo stick gang, but I loved the gameplay.

My favorite parts were fighting hippies, zombies, diamond dogs (David Bowie reference ftw!), and piles of barf, going to Magicant and exploring its acid-induced random color changing, fighting Giygas, and there's a ton more. I love Earthbound, probably my favorite game of all time.
