Totts : Well, it has happened much lately but typically when I cover a fight I usually when possible watch the fight more than once or twice and take notes for material that I’m working on for a piece either regarding that particular contest or one of the fighters who competed. I also record on a daily basis and sometimes I have to write down what is on those discs before I label them. This usually happens when I record a fight that doesn’t have a date attached to it that usually airs on a regional sports network that is not live.

It’s definitely not an exciting thing but that is the life of this freelance writer. <

But I do occasionally take notes while covering a fight card though I do utilize recordings of the fights to my advantage since I record everything so I can go back afterwards and review crucial focal points of a contest which will serve to make the content of my material better.


I admit to being old school often but I feel that with regard to my work if it will help me provide the best and most detail oriented content that I possibly can for the people I am working with and more importantly, my readers then I am all for utilizing anything that may be to my advantage.
