Well... I know it can be tough. Most people have to eventually deal with the pain of breaking up, but if one of you doesn't want to be with the other any longer, than there is nothing you can do about it.

I hope that all goes well for you, and maybe you'll get a new girlfriend and like her even more!

Awww...breakup is the worst thing a person could possibly go through...especially if the relationship was long and theres a lot of love and chemistry between the two people. I'd recommend less dwelling on it and try to move foward...there are plenty more fish in the ocean..

Well if it’s any consolation to you… I have struck out in this area a couple of times and, it’s not an easy thing to think about really but, I look at it as part of my maturity because I emerged from each personal setback a little wiser. Without going into too many details it sounds like you may have gotten off easier than most would have. I myself was engaged twice before I turned 20 yrs old.


This can strictly be attributed to being young and dumb but, in your case it sounds like it was a clean break and that there isn’t necessarily any hard feelings between the two of you, which is something I personally wish I could say in regard to some of my failed relationships but as I said; it was a maturing experience and helped me become the person I am today along with becoming more wiser in regard to who I enter relationships with.


I’ve been alone pretty much for years but that is probably because I am so committed to my work that I haven’t found someone who is willing to put up with how much I work, least of which to meet me halfway. I do remain optimistic that eventually I’ll find the one for me and have elected to just take it as it comes and not to rush it even though I am pushing 30 now.


I was able to reconnect with an ex-girlfriend of mine last year and we’ve talked regularly ever since and we had gone almost five years without communicating so who knows what the future will hold for me but I would be lying if I said that I didn’t appreciate being able to lean on her in what has been an extremely trying year for me.


In regard to your situation though as I said it sounds like it was a clean peaceful separation between the two of you so at least you don’t have to think about any mistakes that may have been made along the way and or, things that you might have approached differently. I know I think sometimes of what I might have done that could have led to relationships breaking up but the bottom line is no matter how much one may lay a guilt trip upon themselves over things like that, it’s not productive.


Keep your head up, you have your whole life ahead of you and you will heal from this in time, I promise.

I'm soo sorry.
Me and my boyfriend got in a nasty fight last night.
It got a bit physical to where he was shaking me and pushing me around.
He's been really annoying lately and laughs about it when I get pissed.
It actually got to a point where I got soo mad I said I was breaking up with him.
I'm living with him so otherwise I wouldn't have a place to go.
So I tried to calm down and thought about it for a while.
We've been together for a little over 2 years and we're engaged.
We made up at the end and made promises.
I'll try to not get so angry (I'm bipolar so it's not so easy managing my anger)
And he'll try not to be an inconsiderate immature jerk.

Lots of times I thought we should break up, but then I remember all the good times we had. Then I look at him and think back..Kinda puts butterflies in my tummy and I feel better about us.

Sometimes that's just what you gotta do.
I mean there must of been some spark in that last kiss, right?
Go get her back!
Sometimes girls just want to know that if they leave, you'll go running back to them.
Believe me, I've pulled that one several times.

I am sure that you will find someone else. Just take it easy for a while man you can make it through this!
