Title says it all.

I do it a lot. Usually you wouldn't get as good of a grade if you did this, but for some reason, I end up always getting A's and B's.

I used to do this all the time. Assignments would be given out weeks (or months) in advance and I would work on it over the last week or day before the assignment was due. I'm sure I would have done better work if I had started working on it right when the assignment was given out but where is the fun in that?

geeogre: The phrase that always plays over and over again in my mind when doing stuff at the last minute is "Grace under pressure." It seems to work for me

I found I didn't have the motivation to get the work done if there wasn't some sort of deadline staring me in the face. I had to know it was due within a week or within 24 hours to really get working hard on it. I didn't always get A's and B's (I'm talking about college ) but I generally did well regardless of how late I started.

Lololol I was the worst for that. Would make a start and then think "right can just forget about it now" and be rushing on the final night stayingup late etc. Still am in general really bad for leaving things until the last minute haha xD

I don't ever recall doing homework the same night it was given. I had first period free from the 8th to 11th grade...and during that period was when i completed my homework. ANd as far as the projects...I participated in group projects...but never completed a project on my own....LOL...

I don't do it too often, because once I did it and I failed the project. Not just a D, but an F. Plus I had to present it in class. One of the most embarassing times of my life.

I can honestly say, that every project I've ever done has been done last minute, without exception. All of the regular homework I have is either done in class, or the morning of. (my special skill is procrastination) But I surprisingly still pull 80's and 90's with ease.

I do almost all my homework last minute like this holiday has got like 4 days left now and i havent even started my homework lol. Even on normal school days i wake up in the morning and do my homework just before school

Every single time i did do my homework it was at the last minute.I would usually get stuff done though.,and to this day i still do everything at the last minute.its kind of funny i dont know what my problem is.

I am the ultimate procrastinator. As a matter of a fact, that should be my Custom Title.

So, yeah. It always happens. I get a week to do a project, and I say to myself, "Okay I'll work on it tonight! I'll get it done early!" Well, you know what happens after that.

I usually pull all nighters, which result in me falling asleep by 5th period. Then, of course, you realize on the morning that you just spent working on the project that you forgot something on there (and this realization comes whilist in first period, naturally). So you get a bad grade on that, get a bad grade for the worksheets done in class 5th period onward, and you feel like crap when you get home.

This happens maybe once, twice a month.

I'm doing it right now! I used to do my work as soon as I could. I would do it like weeks before it was due; I had such great work habits as a child. But, after a while, I grew tired of always doing my work on time. Now, I feel like I am a smarter person despite doing everything the last minute. I don't believe that you do worse when you do work later. It's easier to be lazy and not check, but, I always try to make it as good as I can. There's a certain urgency that comes with this. I don't know. There's an art to procrastination. But, if I could, I'd like to willingly and habitually have my old study habits back.

I screw around on everything but English and Art,it's my favorite subjects and I just enjoy writing and being creative.

Was forced to make up my homework as I handed it in this week. In my current Icelandic course I´m studying the Snorra Edda and the teacher put us in groups and gave us the assignment to bring one story (that she picked for each group) into more modern Icelandic and we were suppoast to present it to the class later in the week.

So I ended up in a group of 2 (it was suppoast to be 4 but two were sick so it was just me + another guy) and the other person in my group was really lazy, I gave him a choise between writing down notes or translating the story from old Icelandic to modern Icelandic and he picked to write notes, so he brought up his laptop and started to take notes and made a powerpoint presentation as I translated each sentence in the story and re-told it to him so that he could take notes, however I found out later in the week in the 2nd Icelandic class of the week that he had made like 9 lines of a powerpoint presentation having like 3 lines on 3 sheets so it was nearly not good enough to count as a proper presentation.

So it ended with me getting a bit annoyed at him so I had him just shift the 3 tiny slideshows in the presentation as I had to recite the entire story from memory to the class.

So yeah, when I say make up my homework what I mean is that I had to tell it with no support unlike most who had a full paper of notes to read as they had their presentation, so really going over the story quickly so I could remember every detail before being called up to show my presentation really was a last minute thing, I should have just written notes myself (and I would have if I had known the dude I was working with hadn´t been taking any notes).

Highschool:
10th:
One time last year I had to do Byzantine Mozaic over a religious figure/symbol of that time period and include a reason of why I chose it. We had a total of a month to do it all. I waited 'till the last 4 days to even start. I didn't do so great.

A Chemistry project I had was done in 3 days before the due date, another was done in like 4 days before the due date.

A spanish project was done in a (school) week, half-assed, but done.

A English Video was actually done fairly early, but it was a group project, and it was a video.

9th:
Another time a couple years back me and ZeldaFan101293 had to do the Cell project for biology. We had awhile to work on it but chose to start it like, a week and a half before. A chunk of the actual worktime was spent looking up Youtube Poop videos. Good times.

The 9th grade english project, which was a video, took 3 days to make. @ days of goofing off, 1 day filming and editing. Due two days later or something.

Another time me and ZF101293 and another guy had to trip a fake trip to Africa, we each had a different country. The three seperate parts had to match up with one another to make one, grand trip. I think we all waited until pretty late to get to work, as most of the time jokes were being told. We researched, waited 'till the last few days, and somehow, without talking to one another, made our flight times match up.

Elementary:
Then even further back in 5th grade I had to "buy a car, finance it, etc. etc." all that junk as if I were to really buty a car. We had two weeks to do it and the last night I just looked through the classifieds and wrote crap down on a paper and found a picture of some car. Yep, just put info with a pic of a car.

I never get it done last minute unless I know that I can do that. Other wise I just get it done while I have time. I did write a paper once though that was due 23 seconds before I got it done. That was total skill, but I will never do it again.

I do my homework on time.To me it boring but it is still good to do it.
It will later on help you get a job and help you make a lot of money in life.

Well, I hardly ever do homework, but I always make sure my projects are at least done the day before or the day after.

Update: I knew about an assignment for over 2 months and I spent the night before and the morning of the day that it was due working on it. It was only 3 pages of real essay but it took me from about 5:45 PM to about 6:25 AM to finish. I did fall asleep, eat, shower, watch Iron Chef, watch basketball to stay up (which backfired lol - see sleep), and I finally finished. I never want to do something like that again for a long time. Bleh.
