MegaRevolution1 : Well, I don’t know about that… It was a case of she needed a place to stay and I was the only one that wanted to take her in so it wasn’t one of those things where I was looking to prove something to her or anything like that. She ended up staying here for a couple of months so it wasn’t all me having to defend my work load to her.

If anything, I was kind of hoping that if she saw what I put myself through that it would motivate her to do something for herself so she could stand on her own where she didn’t have to rely on other people but, that’s another topic for another time.

You can do something active in the morning. Instead of grogging out of bed jump out of bed and act like you are going to win it. You won't be as tired believe me.

My suggestion is to balance whatever your doing at night with exercise. Every 45-60 mins, take a 15 min. break to stretch and keep yourself awake. I wouldn't suggest staying up late every night, though. You'll be pretty tired, no matter what you do. I go down around 10:00 at night, and wake up at around 6:30 every morning still somewhat tired. Hope you find something that works!

Well I'm no sleep expert..but have you tried any of the energizing drinks like Red Bull? I drink it during the day to keep me up and frankly it works..I don't think it has caffeine. It's something that works for me and potentially for you. Other than that I'm not sure...you could try googling if this and your other options fail. Hope I've been some help.

This might not work for you, but if I meditate and focus on relaxing my whole body directly before sleeping (or as a way to fall asleep), I get a much deeper and more restful sleep. I end up needing less sleep and it's easier to wake up in the morning.
There are a lot of different methods of meditation relaxation for sleep, it might be more beneficial for you to do some research on your own time than me trying to explain it all here. In any case, good luck...

I find that the best way is to get used to it gradually. I can go to bed at 1AM, then wake up at 6AM and be fine the whole day, even after school! I know someone already said this, but go ahead and train yourself! Here's what I have to offer:
-Try to keep your hours consistent so you don't mess yourself up.
-Don't stay up all the time. Once or twice a week, get a little extra sleep.
-Find a good way to make yourself fall asleep faster. For me, I put music on (quietly) for 10mins.
-Don't forget to eat well.

Naps? I don't take them. I never get enough rest from them, and all they do is throw me off. Good luck, and happy sleeping!

If you cant sleep, you might not be tired, so you can do something to tire you out.
