In my humble opinion I would say Earthworm Jim, even though after a while of playing this game on my Sega Genesis as a child I soon became depressed, I played it that much, I actually became down.

But still, it was and is a great game and the cartoon was not bad either.

I'm going to base this decision on the biggest trait of each.
Jim= Quick Shooting, and he's an Earthworm...which is sweet.
Cyclops= Laser eye craziness, and most of all Kick Butt Friends!
