the_casualty : No, I have never been banned from any message boards but I have thrown people off boards before when I worked for certain sites as a writer mostly for vulgar obscene language.
I could never understand why some people resort to being so childish online. I personally don’t get it and it did bother me when I had to be one of the people to ask those people who would get out of line to please watch your language and be respectful of others etc. It’s sad that some people don’t respect others I don’t get it. the_casualty : Oh, well in my case these sites were sites I was actually working for at the time so it was part of my duties to make sure the boards were reasonably clean. I use to put in a lot of hours either putting together content/material together and then checking the message boards etc so I know to a degree what you’re talking about. I’ve never heard of anyone being tossed for posting activity though, that is a new one for me but I guess every website has their own rules and, naturally every site is a little different in how they do things. |

bvd1022 : The only problem with over-activity is if you make too many posts in the Forum Games during VCS. You see, to win VCS, you need to make the most posts. Simply posting a bazillion times in the Crazy House can raise your post count, but it wouldn't be fair to the people actually starting conversations. It's like steroids, in a way.

the_casualty : Okay. I'll say what I really did. I flamed people. I was a jerk for no reason. The reality is... I was being bullied at the time, and took my rage out on others. I wasn't mature, and still feel complete remorse for what happened. It wasn't as fun as my lie sounds. I used to be a very angry person. It changed me at least.
For the other site... I said dirty jokes and might have been a jerk without knowing. Meh. 4kids.tv is still around, but the company might be gone.

banned once basically.
At first I was banned for a day in Crazy House, but then later that day, they changed my ban to three days from crazy house. Since then, I have made like 15 posts in total in crazy house. My posts are more spread out now. I think the ban actually helped me improve my posting abilities.
