I'm on a laptop. I have a desktop but it doesn't have a wireless card in it and stretching out the Ethernet cord is annoying. Plus it is quite an older desktop with an AGP video card slot! The laptop I'm on now is one of the better ones that were just below 1000$ last year. I like how desktops are upgradable in basically every way, unlike laptops though.

I'm usually using a laptop like now cuz it is the only computer I own, but if your nto trying to go mobile you can get better performance and memory from a desktop than a laptop. Plus this dang touch pad when I'm typing if my thumb touches it then the mouse moves and I'm typing two paragraphs ago, I hate that. If I had a choice I'd have both, the laptop for when I need portability, and the desktop for performance and price.

I'm on a laptop, and definitely prefer that to PCs. Laptops are pretty much necessary for my schoolwork, amongst other things. Laptops tend to break down quite a bit, though.
