Well just heard it last night but Moss has returned to the Minnesota Vikings today. Any opinions? I for one am stunned at what's happened.

I don't question moving Moss.

I do however question moving him to the VIKINGS for a THIRD ROUND DRAFT PICK.

The Vikings are not a terrible team, and I think Moss was the piece they needed, so they jump to superbowl contention in my eyes. For the Patriots, who normally get value for their players, ended up only getting a 3rd round pick. Keep in mind the Vikings record will probabl improve, so make it a high third round pick.

The Patirots could have traded him to any other team, for any other teams picks. But they should have gotten a solid player in return. And now, they lost their prescence in the backfield. Without Moss, teams will put more pressure on Welker and Brady, which means the Patriots offense will probably suffer.

Good thing I am not a Patriots fan or I'd be ripping my hair out.

Well this is bad news for a Packer fan like myself. The Vikings are pretty much complete now, the thing that has been holding them back this year is bad wide receivers. Now their offensive is pretty much complete with a Hall of Fame Quarterback (brett favre), Hall of Fame Running Back (adrian peterson), and a Hall of Fame Wide Receiver (randy moss).

I'm just really shocked about this trade. While the Vikings could possibly be a Super Bowl team now, it's only for this year since Favre wont be there next year and Moss is getting toward the end of his career. Vikings better make the best of this season because this year is probably the best opportunity they're going to have for a very long time.
