In most cases I would simply say it is just your computer not having the specs to handle it, but it seems most people have problems with it...

I'll try playing it with my very very nice laptop and tell you what I think on it.

EDIT: I played Majora's Mask on my Acer Aspire 5745, and the visuals were fine, the audio was fine until about 10 minutes in, then it started skipping. Most of the time a save and reset fixed the issue, so I'm not too concerned with it.

Didn't try mario 64 yet, and probably won't play it on this site, because I don't like it to begin with, however I think its safe to assume it is playable, just not on your computer.

dazzshell: Have you tried other games? All the Zelda games I've played so far on this site have worked fine, although I've never tried Majora's Mask or OoT. You may want to try some other games until the next version of the plugin comes out, or just ask RGR Staff for help (via Private Message, I suggest). Hope you can figure out the problem and get it fixed.

A lot of the N64 games cause trouble for people depending on their computers. There are plenty of threads with people wondering why Super Mario 64 doesn't work for them. You're not alone. Unfortunately, there is no easy solution. The only one I know of is to use a different computer with better capabilities.

BNuge : Personally, I'm not exactly sure if poor computer performance is the only explanation, though. There are several people who, in the past, were able to play the games they now have trouble with without issue, such as myself. So, it must be, at least in part, due to something in the RGR, like maybe a change or update...

Jayyedx :
I just stopped to think about it when you said that people used to be able to play, but later they couldn't. My guess in those cases is that RAM usage might be involved. That's just a guess though.

I have a similar problem, but I'm not sure RAM usage has to do with it. When I try to play Majora's Mask, it tells me that it can't display the game in windowed mode, but going to Full-Screen doesn't work. I can still hear sounds in response to buttons, so the game itself works, but won't display. (I use IE as my browser, is that the problem?)

The window problem thing comes up a lot, but some users are able to play those games and some aren't. The next few plug in updates are working on making the plug in more N64 compatible and more friendly for peoples computers. The games can be touchy, and even if you do have the specs to play them they might just stop working on you. Sorry, but that's just how it is right now. Nothing can be done about this, many solutions posted, this question has been asked about once a week, I'm going to close this.
