My favorite zelda game is probably ocarina of time because it had a long and good story line full of surprises. Although it is probably tied with the original(the original of every game is the best) because it was a challenging and long game... Go Jello!

This game revolutionized 3d gaming. No, Super Mario 64 did not. It was a good game, but ultimately Zelda wins... OoT had the best story I have ever seen, a capitvating cast of characters (Sheik/Zelda is my fave) and overall everything was done RIGHT with this game.

My only complaint is that more games can't be more like this. This is one of 3 GAMES to get a perfect 10 score from me. The others being Pokemon Gold/Silver, and Fallout 3. Although OoT blows them away. I would have awarded them an 11, but it is impossible.

Overall, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess, A Link to the Past, et al. were all great games. But OoT stands alone at the top.
