Ok, so far I've been studying and reviewing video games, and I came upon a pirated one. Even though I review liscenced games that people actually play, I found this one intresting.

A pirate-video game developer HappySoft.Ltd. has made a game called Hong Kong '97. I actually never played it, but seeing some videos about it, I can tell the game was intended to be horrible.

There are 3 languages: English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese. With the English translation, it is by far impossible to know what the actual game is about.

As far as I know, it's a Shooting up game with no effort put into it. Looks like the developers used Google photos for the game and poor pixelated characters. There's a loop of a song and gets so annoying.

So you are a character in white, his name is Chin, I really don't know any names, and you're trying to get rid of red people invading your territory. (I guess.) Everytime 3 cars come by to drop the red people off, a floating head with blood comes out. Maybe the boss. It's really hard to try to fight him as the boss strikes at you, and you eventually die. Then a screen pops up with a picture of a dead person on it saying Chin is Dead in english and poor Chinese translation. The company I guess never made any other games, because I've searched their company and only this game appears. The game was made for the SNES and it's not a good game to play, but it's rare to find, just like Action 52.

I've seen pictures... I agree. I think this game was intended to be terrible. I mean it's hard to make a game that bad unless you do it on purpose...

Although I like the whole three language thing. And two of them are Chinese! I guess no one cared to make a Spanish version.

I wanted to try it out, but it wasn't in the RGR

Maybe that should be a new addition if anybody can find the rom for it?

I'd love to try it and see how bad it is.
