I've only ever played two Tekken games, Tekken 2 and Tekken 3 I beleive. My favorite charcter for these games was the Panda Bear, just because it was awesomely random.

Ling Xiyaou just love her fighting style (granted it´s pretty unreal as there is no way such slender arms on such a small girl could throw something heavy like Gun-Jack or Kuma into the air with a single slap) and I plaid with her so much that I could beat all my friends with only her in the mode where you can fight 8 vs 8 except I fought 1 vs 8 and pissed them off, I don´t know if she is the best character but she is very fluid and in my mind likely the strongest tekken character and most worthy of being champion of the iron fist tournament.

If I could learn any martial art I wanted I´d learn her martial art.

I like hwoarang (all time fav., will stick with him 4ever)for the cool kicks and stay in your face approach, Xiayou for the tricky backward kicks and low stance attacks (for when I wanna keep distance, or sneak in, heihachi for when I'm fight power players, cuz he has lots of fast mid to high range power attacks, faster than most other power players I think.

Edit: BTW tekken is my favorite fighting franchise ever.

I have to agree with Ellert! Ling Xiaoyu with her graceful fighting style is my favourite and the one which has stuck with me in the Tekken games! I love Tekken haha and I first played the 3rd and had picked her on the demo when it first came out. I've also enjoyed how the only difference (apart from costume changes) with Ling Xiaoyu now compared to Tekken 3 is speed improvement to keep with the times. I've also got an unfinished costume of hers at the moment as well haha, I love that character!
