I'll really go outside the box here. I would pick the GBA (SP preferred). It plays GB, GBC, and GBA games all in one! But, you probably knew that. The possible library playable for it spanned for about 20 years! To me, it never got much better than that. I had an SNES (it was my first console), but, the SP was really the one that I still love to this day (I still love SNES games quite a bit, I play them the most on here). But if I had to choose NES or Wii, I'd pick NES. You can get a Wii anywhere, but, the NES is a classic and the best home console ever.

Alright, well seeing as everybody else is voting for something else, I think that I'll join in.
I reckon that The N64 or SNES is the best nintendo console. They both were awesome consoles, and hosted a lot of really good games as well.
If it was only out of those two choices, I'd go with the NES, partially because I've never really played the Wii before LOL.

Well, the Wii certainly has better graphics and more in-depth games, but fewer genuinely interesting games. Mayby it's the nostalgia, but nostalgia does count for something. My favorite system is the N64. It had the best combination of graphics and good ideas to use them with.

For sure the Wii is better with the exception that you have a better connection speed than dial-up in order to download the NES games, if not play them on Vizzed .
