Anyways, what is the most underrated game of all time ?


I would have said Sonic, but I never played the new games, but Sonic heroes was my childhood game *cries in a way* and was my favorite *ripped version with no voices, so I thought all Sonic games didn't talk, I was so surprised 5 years later after trying the demo (YES, I didn't know how to read when I was young)

Another one might be Mother 3 and 1, well, it is not very well known.

I'd have to go with Okami. That game was GOLD! But it flopped so hard that it's devolper got shut down, and THAT is underated.

Okami. No doubt about it. I love it.

mine would have to be a little game called ssx blur got big hype then was forgotten that or frogger the great quest is one of my favorite games ever along with frogger 2 swampys revenge love both of those games to death they were my most played games as a kid

Castlevania Bloodlines is SOOOOO underrated. It says it's rated GA (Sega's equivalent to the ESRB's E). I read on Wikipedia that those games of that rating contains no blood and is suitable for all audiences. WRONG! It has TONS of blood and violence. Play it here on Vizzed for Sega Genesis.

Okami is an excellent, albeit underrated game

Didowe : EarthBound actually flopped during it's American release, and it's gained cult following overtime. So, you could say that all Mothers were underraated.

The Legend of Dragoon was a 4-disc RPG epic that didn't do too well. Like EarthBound, it's gained cult following over time.

i would say Chuck Rock It was a real great SNES game, but for some reason it's very unknown and very underrated. Same with the sequel to it, which was even better. Those games were some of my favorites as a kid, too bad nobody knew about them.

I have another one too. The metroid series, most people have no idea who it is anymore unless they are super video game fans. Those are some of the best games ever!

Okami, I first found that game in some big bin in a electronics store with a big sign on it that said "All items in bin at X price" (can´t remember the price but it was very low), since I was shopping for presents I decided to buy it for my little brother thinking it was just some very simplistic and linear game that a 8 years old may enjoy.

Later on nearly a year after the game had been bought I heard from a friend that it was a good game and decided to ask my little brother if he had plaid it and he said "I didn´t understand it" (he didn´t and still doesn´t understand English) and at that point I thought "this must be a good game", since me and my little brother are like ying and yang, the sky and the earth and RPGs and MMORPGs when it comes to what kind of games we like.

So I bought the game from him and started to play it and ATM I think it may be one of the best if not the best PS2 games I´ve ever plaid, has some original concepts, a lighthearted environment while still having a nice storyline, so yeah my vote goes to Okami.

I would say Okami, but I haven't played it.

For games I have played, probably Star Fox: Assault. I liked everything about it, although the moving controls for the ground levels could have used some work. In fact, the ground levels were the reason why it got bagged on

Why does everyone say Okami? I've never played the game. I might have to check it out.

For me, I think the Megaman Battle Network series was underrated. The first game was a dud, but the games after that shone. The battle system was completely original. I think the series as a whole was underrated because each subsequent game would be quite a bit similar to it predecessor.
