Okay, so basically this thread is about whether you like to read or not, and what types of books you like to read.
Okay, now for my opinion. I like reading, and my favourite genre of reading is Mystery and all those sort of things. (As you can tell I'm a sherlock Holmes fan.)

I love reading! No book is too long! I usually read books related to my field, so essays on design or books on current web technologies, to keep myself informed. However, in my free time, I love fantasy novels. Currently on a huge historical fantasy kick. ^^ I highly recommend Naomi Novak's His Majesty's Dragon.

I used to read quite a bit when I was young, I had quite a high reading age so was able to read some quite sophisticated books, which as a kid where much more interesting than the ususal stuff they got us to read.

I then got into comics and loved them so much that I started collecting them, although when I say comics I am talking about Mad and 'Viz' yes there is a comic called Viz!, wonder if David knew about this, its made in the UK and is funny but quite rude.

I then later read at University and would get through about 3-4 books a week, mostly academic stuff, but I enjoyed it.

I then stopped reading altogether, called it 'Uni-overkill' and it took along time to get back into it.

Finally I am reading again and loving it.

Ian Rankin, Rebus is a great Hard Boiled Detectic series, a bit like Chandler's stuff.
