I think Blasphemy is purposly and directly insulting someone.

For instance, if someone is just sitting their swearing directly at the holy spirit and showing hatred toward it, their probably goin to hell.

IThe way I have understood it as well is that the Holy Spirit dwells within you. So if you deny the Holy Spirit you deny the part of God that is inside of you. I was asking to see if anyone else knew why.

Instead it somone who repents from a sin and asks forgiveness and help with the sin and doesn't really mean it. Asking god for help just to get to heaven, or not really mean what your saying and know ing your not even going to try to get with the gameplan. Slightly more confusing than I want it to be.
