i would have to say misty because she and ash were together for so many seasons of the series until the day her sisters called and she had no choice but to become the gym leader i think you could see the same episode in the retro toon room.

I had a dream about this when I was 13, it has to happen! lol. Sad thing is I really did.. I also had a crush on her when I was younger.. haha. What a loser ;D

Seriously, though, Misty. There's just nobody else. They just made their mutual attraction blatantly obvious.

I didn't watch the episodes with May(the show died when Misty left), aside from the one Misty was in, so.. I don't know about their chemistry.

I've watched most of the episodes with Dawn and.. No.. I don't like them together. And they haven't really hinted at a mutual attraction, at least not like with Misty and Ash.
