Wife and I are going to buy a one of these 2 houses,
I like a house that over looks, wether it be an Ocean,Mountain,town, or all the above.
She like houses that are... boring.

We will just tally up votes on the 2 listings from all of you you, and the one that has
most votes is the house we will get.

i personally like the 2nd one.it looks more homey and looks like it'd be good for a family.

wo i think bolth are realy nice but ill agree wiht u one this one but ethier way they boith are pretty nice looking

10Kegs : Let me first say how envious I am that you could afford either home in this economy. Their both very scenic and have that “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” look to them. I would be happy with either to be honest but I would take into account how much space you would need for your possessions and or living space for your family. If space is not a factor, I would go with what best fits you and your wife.

Not much of a house person since I've been living in an appartment for a long time now 10 foot room is fine for me lol.

Let's see though...

House #1 looks a lot more like a home on the inside but the front of house looks like a hotel entrance.
House #2 looks great on the outside but the inside looks like a hotel lobby

Need more pictures for house #1 it doesn't show much of the inside so its hard to tell.

House #2 wins on best outside looks, house #1 beats house #2 in looking like an actual home on the inside. House #2 has rock hard floors all over while house #1 looks like it has some carpet... yeah house #1 is more comfortable and looks more like a house Plus it has a nice mountain view and tennis court as well. But the outside view of house #2 owns in looking cool from the outside

So I would have to agree with you 10Kegs, house #1 probably wins in terms of being a house on the inside and looks more comfortable but can we get more pics of it?

I think House #1 is the one that I would prefer most out of the two choices. It looks much more homey on the inside. To me, the inside of the house is the most important part. It is where you will spending the most of your time, so, I'd prefer to live in a house that feels right on the inside. External appearance is nice for showing off to visitors and such, but, I like comfort.

I'll try to get more photos of both houses.
Or a Virtual 360 tour of both places.

they both look so great, but i think House 2 looks a little better.

i'd say that the "blah" one looks friggin AWESOME!!! i'd most def give her exACtly what she wants. lol. although, as previously stated, how in the world can you afford either house? lol.

Um... I really need to see more pics. Both look amazing and I envy you. The first one, from the picture of the grounds, looks like a mini country club.

If you want my honest opinion (or honest opinions in general) I wouldn't pick either house. They are both so over the top that I would not be happy living in those houses.

But, I'm in a far more practical stage of life than you seem to be. But based on those pictures I personally could not pick one that I would like more than the other.

I agree with geo here. All that really matters is a roof over your head. If I was rich and made 2 million a month I would still live in an appartment and be frugal and use the money for more important things. No matter how expensive a house is it only does one thing, put a roof over your head Some people pay millions for a car or thousands on a dinner but me I enjoy the cheaper things in life. As I said before all I need is a 10 foot room and a computer with net and I'm set for life

As I do understand what you mean just by having a roof over our heads.
It's not like we are paying for either house to show off to anyone.,
This house will be great for us when our kids are grown up and off to college
and so forth. Like our own retirment place. Away from the noise of sirens the people.
To let go of the weight all have on ones' shoulders.
But I understand the statement.

Wow, both houses are fantastic... But if I had to pick either, I think I would pick the second, because it has more of a homey feel. The first one looks more like a country club then anything.

I say go with the house your wife picks, women know more about these things and usually know what's best when it comes to houses.

Your marriage should be the most important thing in your life and making her happy should be a high priority so you should always put your wife above yourself and what better way to show how much you respect her and value her opinion than to let her decide.

I hate to say it now,
If I let her just decide she will pick the one I really want.
That's why we both decided this way is better.
And love and respect she gets all day everyday.
Cars, Trucks,Romantic Dinners,Jazz Clubs, I'll take her to any country she wants to visit.
Buy her just about anything, anytime. Pricey and cheap items.
I put her on my Throne. Lol.
So as far as her picking the house and getting what she wants again,
Sadly I will not allow.

hmm, i think now the 2nd one is better, it looks like it has a lot more room than the other[which is what it looks like from the picture], although if you want one that has a good view, i say the first one. so i guess, choose the 2nd one, hope i helped

Got great opinions from all of you, we are sad to say we found another, that we both agree on. It not only has the view but is also, Homey, Great area, no Nieghbors for miles and miles. Perfect place to make the best of meals for either that, Romantic Dinner, or a fun family dinner. So we both get what we were looking for. But we thank each of you for your honest opinions.

it is very nice, and cheaper than the 9mil. ones. still in the mil. but not as bad,
As niether of us need that big of a house for that much, when it is obvious to get
another house with better, Household items and views. And a great place to move the entire family and not waiting for them to go to College. when they are grown enough
to go to college they with their hearts set can go to any college they wish to attend.

We are glad to help. This new one sounds really nice, but wow that is an expensive house. Are you getting it with or without the side cottage?
