Typical media right there they like to point blame on games and celebrities it gives them something to talk about. Yea the game is rated "M" for mature so why are they moaning about nudity? Now more kids will want to buy it lol.

It's just the mentality people in the media have (and a lot not part of the media), they think there is an easy answer to everything. Let me translate some of what was said from double talk to real speak (loose quotes cus i cant remember word for word) "i find it funny how companies talk about all these locks, but kids have access to it and you can't constantly look over their shoulder." translation= we are too damn lazy to try and do what we think a parent should do, but it is not our responsibility to read reviews or screen it or talk to our kids about it, its the game makes responsibility to completely shape the game around OUR morals even tho others disagree. "violence has been proven to desensitize" translation: Kids today have no problem watching pixels on a screen fade away and try and find new ways to do it, thus by logic they wouldn't mind watching actual people fade away. "sex desensitizes as well" translation: oh noez!!!! are kids are seeing full nudity and sex, its so unnatural its so horrid for our children to kn ow this exists, cus as everyone knows, kids up till now had NO idea! "they are marketing it to teens and kids" translation: our kids want it because its flashy and looks cool and we being the lazy ass people we are buy it for them to either shut them up or because we just bother to make sure we agree that the content is age appropriate. /end translation. *rolls eyes* you know, i played a lot of violent games for as long as i can remember (i remember being 4 or 5 playing doom and heretic and hexen and duke nukem 3d and others like those) and now that i am older i play games with more nudity and other sexual references, I don't see me coming out a desensitized cold heated sexist. And that woman is an idiot, anyone who can say violence in games desensitizes and that percentage wise dad's don't play games and that its mainly little kids playing these games obviously has been living under a rock. and again, how bout you be oh i dunno.... RESPONSIBLE??? and actually read up on or screen the stuff your kids play instead of making it seem like the company's fault that your kid saw something that you didn't want them to even though its no big secret about the content.

I'm not one to side with putting sexuality in games. Games are for having fun, not for arousal. I don't think Fox was dumb for reporting this. To me, this is an issue worth concern.

Hoochman : well see the thing about tht is, if you don't like the game or its content u wont play it right? well its not tht hard to find out whats in a game or set the locks, but people don't want to take responsibility anymore. They make it seem like gamers are mindless fools and the companies are destroying human morals. If you don't want your kid to play a game with tht in it, then you should screen it or read up on it or turn the case over and read the ratings. it is not tht i think its wrong for people to care cus each person's morals are their own, but they make it seem like it was some big secret tht it was in there.

metal572 : I can do that, good idea that is. The problem is that these companies shouldn't be putting crap like that in games anyhow. I'm all for playing games that others would consider strong, but sex is a little over the top.

Hoochman : well the thing is, what you consider over the top and what others consider over the top are differnet (cus people are different) i say if someone makes a game with sex in it and the consumer knows its in it (which they should seeing as its even on the back of the box) then they should go ahead and enjoy it. I just don't like how parents blame so much on games or companies instead of looking at their own ways of parenting. i mean its not like the content of the game was kept secret, but no it must be the company's fault *sarcasm*

having nudity in video games is pretty silly....

but it's 10 times easier to find REAL porn on the internet.... involving real people.... a little video game nudity isn't the end of the world.

I agree with metal though... the real problem is parenting. Too many parents refuse to take the time or care enough to make an issue out of something like this. They would rather go to work and make money than actually spend time raising their kids. Kids don't get in trouble when their parents are actively involved in their lives.

Hoochman : While I see your point, and I think you have a valid arguement, the fact that this scene is such a small part of the game is what I would like to bring up. Now, you can go on newgrounds and go to the 18+ section and find stuff a lot worse than this 100% of the time, there is a low chance that you will actually se this in the game. If you haven't played this, I understand, many people haven't, but if you have played this, you know that there are options you can choose previous to this scene, which make it impossible to even see the nudity.

Mature: 17+, Legal adult at 18, so that's only one year.

And if parent's really wanted to stop this stuff, they could indeed use the locks that Fox News is talking about. My Xbox broke recently, so I got the Xbox 360 slim, the new glossy black one. Almost the moment you turned it on you had to set family settings, such as multiplayer network access, and including what the maximum rating would be allowed on the console, meaning you could disallow M or Ao ratings, even things as low as E.

hey i like fox news if i get flamed for that so be it and just saying alot of news people talked about this not just fox so keep that in mind but i sont think that nudity needs to be in games at all it really flat out does not belong in video games of any type i dont know what you gain from that
