Interestingly enough, the next day Poland announced that it was pulling out of Iraq because it was a deathtrap.

I think you're being very hypocritical Jin and John. If you want to hack and slash it down to "he deserves to die because he indirectly killed thousands of people" then I can thing of about a million other people who have matched that feat who we all hold in very high esteem.
