Never played the Crash Fusion game you speak of, but I have played Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon games. I liked the Spyro game better...but I wouldn't say he's better as far as character.

I've played a lot of games from each series, and the open-world exploration of Spyro levels coupled with the challenging boss levels and quirky cast (ah, Moneybags...) made the series more of a hit for me.
