For me, it depends on a few things,
a : What game is being hacked.
Generally I like pokemon hacks, because they are almost always well put together.
B : The quality of the Hack
If its well done, with few bugs.
C: The difference it makes to the game.
If it makes the game harder it generally annoys me, but if it make it easier, then its pointless, but if it changes color, gives custom levels, and improves gameplay then the hack becomes better than the origional game.

Im open to all hacks, and i have nothing against them, unless its Kaizo Mario World... then it just gets too crazy.

It depends, I rather play hacks to a Final Fantasy Game or Pokemon where they keep the same story and levels but just add a new twist to it. Other than that I'd rather play the oriinal game.
