My cat just recently quit using the litter box for no reason and now we have to keep him outside. If anyone knows something that might be the problem or if you know a solution, please comment. Thanks

My cat also stopped using the litter box a few months ago, and would go all over the house. We started finding blood in his urine, so we consulted a vet, and they found out it was a urinary tract infection. Now he's on special food which is high in protein and low in ash, and is doing much better. I'm not saying that's what's wrong with your cat, but it could be. You should take him to the vet if you can, and get him checked out.

You can make sure the litter box is kept clean, some cats don't want to get dirty to use the litter box. Especially long haired cats. Some cats don't like to go to the bathroom where they eat and play, so you can move it to back room. If its in a back room where no one goes, the cat will feel it has more privacy aswell. It could also be the type of liter, some like clay and some like cedar. You can experiment with that sort of thing. I also agree with Fishergirl7, taking it to the vet is always a good idea. I hope this helps you solve your problem!

well, when i had my cat, she started going in another part of the house. some cats just get bored of one place and move to another, so if you put the litter box, or a couple litter boxes in the new poop places, it may help some

Well, that happens to me whenever me/family are gone for a while, but since he's a main coom, we had to get him to the vet, the vet just said "Move the box" or something like that.

I'll move this to Your Forum - Post About Yourself.
