well ive only watched bits and pieces of American dad and family guy but the humour on these shows is pretty smart.the characters are likeable,the show makes me laugh pretty hard at the jokes,parodys and the way they they tell their story's are fun and quirky especially how peter tells them in his retarded own way. personally I prefer family guy because of stewie brian and peter and the way the episode unfolds based on the certain characters.
