On Wednesday, I bought a care package for my PSP, It came with earphones, docking station, earphones, neckstrap, squeegee, and one of those gosh darn screen protectors.

PROBLEMS:
It came with white speckles on the inside of it.
When I applied it, it just bubbled up and the speckles scratched my PSP.
The bubbles wouldn't disappear.
It made my PSP look like crap.
I dropped my PSP by accident, and a hole appeared in the protector and made a scratch in my PSP.

If you think that this thread is pointless, I'll trash it.

If you have had an experience good/bad with screen protectors, share 'em.

Oh yeah those screen protecters on the PSP are horrible. I bought one a few months ago and when I applied it bubbles and little specs where everywhere and it made the screen look worse. I thought maybe the ones I bought were defective so I went back and bought two more! And man was that a waste of money because the same thing happened again! I later found out that you have to apply the screen protecter very carefully to avoid getting those air bubbles, so yeah I think they are pointless aswell and yeah if you drop your psp there is no way your screen will be protected with one of these. Those are only meant to keep the screen clean and free from hand marks or MINOR scrathces!

Nice thread by the way and I'm pretty sure more people than just us two have bought some of these screen protectors.

yeah they're a pain aren't they.the same happens with almost all screen protectors.the bubbles and specs are a really annoying and they sorta put me off playing on it.when the old screen protector worn out on mine it looked fine when it was on but when I peeled it off...the horror!it had scratches all over the screen and that put me off playing it even more.I had never dropped it or placed it on rubber or anything like that and when I finish playing it I always put it back in the case.
so I go back to game station and tell them what happened and they say that I must've dropped it or put something heavy or sharp on top of it.so thats one game store im never gonna go to again
