So if your not Catholic you go to hell? I think that is very misleading it's like saying if your not American you are a terrorist, doesn't make sense. I don't follow religion I feel if you do the right thing in the world you will end up in the right place with religion aside.

I'm agnostic.
Why? I believe humans have no 'effin right to judge or assume what the hell is out there.
Why?
'Cause we know absolutely NOTHING.
I'm not going to get into a discussion about this, but heres a summary.
Science means nothing. Sure we can do millions upon millions of tests, but what if the five trillionth and one is the one that changes? There is no node in the center of the UNiverse that tells us whats right and whats wrong.
What right do we as mere mortals have to assume what is and isn't?
Thus, anything can be out there. Whether it's God, whether its Shiva, Zeus, Loki, whoever, whatever, if anything.
That is all.

These days I more or less consider myself agnostic. Though we never really went to church a lot as a kid, I grew up in a mostly baptist house, thus my general distaste with Christianity.

It's humorous you say that because there was a time when I was younger when I wanted to become Jewish. At that time for some reason I did not mind everything else in the bible, but the divinity of Jesus (in other words, that Jesus is not only the messiah and son of god, but IS God) just did not sit well with me. I have since taken a more skeptical and guarded view in regards to all of the bible.

I am inclined to believe there is some sort of higher power out there, like who is capable of seeing, existing, and acting in dimensions we cannot, but those are just my wandering thoughts.

God as he is presented in Christian, Jewish, and Islamic religious texts just does not seem right to me. I suppose it's Hell for me.

the one thing i like about Judaism, is that it can be as secular as you want. I don't believe that most of the stories in the Torah are true and really all I do is celebrate some of the holidays. my beliefs on G-d are almost completely independently formed

I have no idea what I am, whoo!

My family was Lutheran but we quit going to church when I was eight and since then I've found a lot wrong in what I once believed. I'm not too bothered with it really, it's all one big gamble anyway. I like to believe there's no real answer and so long as we live our lives peacefully and honestly and generally morally (though slip ups are allowable) we should be in good standing in the end, if there is anything in the end. Just don't be a jerkwad and you should be okay.

at least that is about the most radical that Christians get. I'll take "converting" kids at the playground over strapping bombs to kids and the playground any day.
