I really don't like using cheats but my favorite cheat code has to be the famous start wiht 30 lives code for Contra. (NES) I still remember it today and it is the only way I can ever beat Contra which is a very good game but also very difficult.

Like some people have already said, I don't really prefer to use cheats, but I will if I've already beaten a game just for the fun of it.
My favorite though would have to be on Age of Empires 2 where you type "How do you turn this on?" in the chat box, and then you get a car that shoots stuff lol
Oh, and there was one in the first Age of Empires where you could get catapults that fired cows... good times
