I never have, but when I was working at my old job there was this one day that a guy was stung... worst sting the lifeguards had ever seen but the guy insisted on having a friend pick him up and take him to the hospital. They gave him the emergency meds so he could walk and wait for his ride and he staggered over to the grass by my booth where I first saw him.

He looked pale and sweaty, grimacing in pain. I had no idea what was going on at the time but I asked him if he was okay. He told me about the above mentioned situation and I asked him if I could get him anything (it was a really slow day, no cars). He only asked for water, so I gave him my own bottle and he jugged it down... I guess the meds or the sting make you really hot, and he was really grateful for it. I kept him company until his friend arrived, running off to take a few cars. The guy called me a lifesaver and thanked me for my kindness. Never saw the guy again but I was glad he was okay.

Yep, I've been stung quite a few times. I believe I was stung by Moon Jellies or Sea Nettles, not serverely though. Both of those species don't have very harmful stings, they just hurt. o.e

I was stung just this past summer while tubing in the bay. It's pretty painful, but it goes away pretty quickly. It get's itchy too.

nope but when i was really young i stuck a stick in the water and a dead jelly wa on my stick it was small though

I got stung about 5 years ago. I almost drowned because it paralyzed me O.o but my dad came out and got me before I drowned. I have a fear of swimming in anything that might have jellyfish now. It doesn't stop me from doing it but still. >.<

ive been stung a few times, but the first was the worst...i was like 8 and made it seem so dramatic. when my dad told me to pee on my foot i got mad, but it took the pain away

No i havent.
There are not that much jelly fish where i live and there are remodies for jellyfish stings in 15 miles from where i live and there are situations where you have to pee on a jellyfish sting but nobody does that that much. well in sertain situations yes.

nope but you have to go to the beach to get sung and well I've never been I have got stung by a bee and my hand swelled up for a week.

Wow... I had no idea so many people had never been stung by a jellyfish before. Hey, i shouldn't be talking- I live an hour's drive away from the Jersey Shore and even i haven't been stung by a jellyfish before.

Beside, I sorta have a phobia of them.

I was stung on the foot and on the elbow. Fortunately, a little bit of vinegar really helped and as soon as i got back from the beach, I felt better

According to the Aquarium I work at they said peeing on a jelly fish sting does nothing! The best thing for it is either warm or hot water or viniger depending on which species of jelly stung you. We don't call them jelly "fish" cuz they're technically not fish! lol They're Plankton and they're Cnidarians. I've been stung maybe once and thats it even thought I live by a river where there are tons of them.

I have never been stung by a jellyfish before and beside I have never been in the ocean before.

I have never been stung by a jelly fish but thats probaly because i live no where near i sea.I have always wondered how it felt to get stung tho.
