On may 10 the PC version of PSO:BB is having an open beta lasting for one month. All the info is Here. The game features updated graphics, 1000+ new items and a new way of playing stages along with alot more.

I couldn't find teh information I wanted on that site

Does the beta cost money? And when will teh game officially be released?


It's gonna be awsome though! I like that the character information will be stored on their servers, so there will no longer be any hackers or cheaters! 1 problem with that, I think it might force us to use the official server rather than a free server

You telling me the owners of somewho who uses about 2 T1 servers cannot afford a $30 60gb harddrive? or a $80 150gb.

Originally for the PC and the DC versions character files were kept locally. Im not sure about the GC version. Although this means that the data is the property of Sega and they can wipe it at any time.

I dont know when the official game comes out but it will be free to download, but you'll need a hunters license to play on the official servers. Somebody will definitely attempt to launch a free server, they always do.

This can be moved to the computer games section, I was just really excited when I first heard the news.
