I liked the Super Nintendo the best. It had some great games and I liked the controller. I spent countless hours playing Mega Man X, Street Fighters, and blah blah blah.

Well from going from Atari to NES, the NES had alot more to offer. When the SNES came out every thing on it was the "super" version of NES. E.G. Super Castlevania, Super Metroid, and the Zelda, Super Mario, Final Fantasy, and Mega Man games got an upgrade. So I was stoked at all that because at that time it was pretty much the pinnacle of gaming. Also, the SNES kept coming out with more and more games, alot better games in my opinion than the majority of N64 and Game Cube games. I agree with the view of the SNES being the "golden age" console.

I really liked my N64 when i first got it I thought wow because the graphics on Lylat Wars and Mario64 were excellent for the time, after that i bought as many games for it as i could and constantly played it my PlayStation ended up gathering dust and was only used when a new RPG came out that i was interested in.

The N64 just didnt have a large enough selection of really good games and all the Nintendo consoles afterwards have just been filled with more and more fail.
But the Snes, why I still play Snes games to this day.
