Ok, so I am in Wal-Mart to get a can of chili beans for my mom. I go to check out and there are 3 lanes open out of the 18 on that half of the store. 3 lanes at 8:45 on a Saturday night!
So anyways I see a lane that is closed but there is a guy with like a whole basket full being checked out there, I think to myself, "Hmm, I only have one item, so I guess it would be ok if he checked me out too." I go over there and some other lady that works there comes over there and iin a rude tone with an attitude says that he is closed and that his light was off and he can't check me out.
Now hear me out, I didn't mind that she said that he was closed it was her tone and her attitude. I had half a mind just to sit the can of chili beans down right there in the floor and say, "Ma'm if you are going to give me that kind of an attitude you can take these and put them back on the shelf yourself." If it wouldn't of been something for someone else, then I would have. I just always find people at my local Wal-Mart to be, for lack of a better word, stupid. I mean 9 on a Saturday night isn't exactly dead time. Any of you guys or girls had things like this happen to you at stores?

Kinda...what happened to me though, is I went to Wal-Mart by myself. Well I went there to get a game right? Well the lady gave me the game and all then when she went to check me out, she asked if I was 17 or if my parent was there. I said "No"..well then she told me I couldn't get the game. Well she called the game people and I told her that I could call my mom...MY MOM for cryin' out loud...she said, "Sorry...you either have to be 17 or your parent must be with you." Well..really what's the difference if your mom is with you...or on the phone...geeze...

One time I was at Blockbuster video, and I went to rent a game. I had no ID or a blockbuster card so they didnt let me rent the game. I come back a week later same thing but the lady takes 10 seconds to look me up in their database and asks for my info as verification.

Some stores really need more workers, I think alot of times with stores, the workers like to take their time and/or slack off.

Dairy Queen is the slowest restaurant I know! Seriously, it might be just as long as Perkins. This happens often, I go over there from work to grab somethin quick to eat, I'm standing in line for almost 10 minutes. They need way more workers than only 4 on a Sunday evening, the place is crowded with customers all the time, and not enough workers.
The longest wait I've had with DQ, is about 20 minutes while in the Drive Thru, not even exagerating either!

I only found out recenlty, that (In Australia), if something is scanned , and the scanned price isnt the shelf prics you get it for free, but if the shelf price is cheaper, you pay for it at that price... weird ay
