24 is a series about certain days in the life of a federal agent.
All episodes happen in real time, so while individual episodes might not be as fast paced as in other series, it is more realistic and detailed in explaining the events of the one single day that is covered per season.

The series stars Kiefer Sutherland as federal agent Jack Bauer, the not quite by the books protagonist of the show.

Personally I think the show is great, and Kiefer Sutherland puts in a great performance in his role.

Its a pretty good show. I watched the first 2 seasons beginning to end. Then I stopped watching, not for any specific reason. But I started to watch this last season and it was still good, but my t.v. got messed up so I missed more then half of the season. But since the series is over I have 6 and half seasons to catch up on.

I've only seen commercials of the show... but I've seen his dad in a few movies he is a good actor but as for Kiefer Sutherland never really seen him in anything other then the movie Phone Booth (I think he was in that can't remember)

I loved the series.... I've watched every season and while not all of them are amazing.... they are good enough that I kept watching each season as they came out.

Only unfortunate thing is that it's not the type of show you can watch again unless you're watching with someone who doesn't know what's going on. Once the surprise is gone it's not as good of a show.

I watched the 1st and 2nd seasons then forgot about it until the last 2 seasons. It was a good show. At the end of the series finale it was said that they're working on a 24 movie for theaters, so I'm looking out for that if they go through with it.

I know that season 8 ended in the US in May though.
What annoyed me is that JBHiFi had that 24 collection with 1-7 and the telemovie so I got it, then just after I found out that there was a season 8 in the US

I never really liked 24. Probably because everyone made a big deal about it which is why it turned me off just about right away. I watched a little bit of an episode and got bored real fast. But like DarkHyren said, it can be slower paced than others.
