Is there anyone on Vizzed that actually likes the mainstream music of today?
By mainstream, I mean the songs that are played on the popular radio stations and popular music TV shows.
Personally I can't stand most of it and the stuff I can stand, I get sick of very quickly.

I tend to agree, some good hip-hop still coming out and techno. Other than that not much I can stomach, so I stick with listening to a little older stuff for now.

I don't like the mainstream music at all, there are one or two songs that I wouldn't mind listening to, but most of the other songs I can't just stand. Hip-hop are sending out some good new songs, but that's pretty much it for now, until someone can show me another good mainstream song

The problem with a lot of the mainstream music these days is that they have no substance. They're usually about going out to party or something just as senseless. Which then gets reflected in the sounds they used which make them just random noises since they have no real purpose, at least in my mind but then again I'm extremely picky about my music.

Crono : It's not all Rap and Hiphop, but there is a fair bit of it and that is the music i mostly dislike. The other music I don't mind.

Zamiel : Exactly the lyrics are terrible on the hiphop and pop songs. Tik Tok - Kesha would have to be a perfect example of this. And the Lady Gaga songs.
