It depends on the person that I have to talk.
When he/she is a good friend, I usually call and we talk almost an hour or more.
But when I don't like that person, I usually use text messages and I always mention that I'm busy and that's the reason I didn't call him/her.

Sadly yes, I think it is much more easier and faster than having to call and talk when you can quickly text them. But when you think about it that is kinda weird when the purpose of a phone is to call.

I have no idea, I hardly do either. I think I prefer to call people though as I get 10 minute calls after certain times for 22cents and a text message is 25cents, so it's just cheaper to wait till the times I can make 10 minute calls.

Same as hypermonkey, I almost never text.

Anyways, I find that it's much easier to use one hand to hold it up to my ears, to using 2 hands to push buttons (Which can be very time comsuming).

In fact I had an incident yesterday when I accidentally locked my phone without even knowing my PIN code..."Low Memory" is what it kept showing which means I have to get rid of memory. A large percentage of memory wasted is on text messages. After unlocking it today (thank god) I deleted over 3000 text messages.

My cell phone bills are cheap....free unlimited texting, free incoming calls, and free after 9 PM so I barely fret over an expensive bill. I rarely use the phone. Texting has become second nature to me.
