To make a long story short, I was playing Civlilzation IV earlier today and wound up reminiscing about Civlilzation I, which was an (awesome) game for the DOS. And that got me thinking- Is there an emulator for DOS games, and if so, could/ would the RGR add it? Considering that DOs games were 8-bit, and definetly retro, I personally think it wuld be a nice addition. Does anyone else think this would be a good idea?

Yeah I've been asking for the DOS/Amiga for quite awhile now and believe David said he'd get to it one day, but there's the whole Itemshop development going on. I'd say just get DosBox for now.

Yeah, I think I've seen David say before that he'd add them eventually. But for right now, he's done with the RGR, he's gotta take a break to work on the forum stuff.

It's an ok idea and it would work ok, though if I recall last time we tried it the emulator had problems.
So we probally have to wait till someone can fix it before worrying about trying to put DOS on the site again.
