Well,

For the past 4 days or so, my desktop has contracted a virus. Naturally I figure a good McAfee scan would fix it, but this virus is a devious little bugger (pun). I had to download a boot CD of Dr. Web, and run that about 3 times (it takes about 13 hours each time) to finally get it.

Now while my desktop was on the fritz, I still had my laptop. I decide to install Ubuntu Linux on it... not a good idea when you're backup has a virus. I accidentally installed the wrong version of Ubuntu (for netbooks). So as bright as I am, instead of unistalling it, I remove the partition in which it's found, and ruined my windows operating system. I then spend about a day reinstalling windows with a recovery belonging to an other computer, finding all the drivers I need, and reinstalling Ubuntu. Ubuntu however wasn't connecting to the Internet... so I spend a day or so figure that out to FINALLY sign on to vizzed and behold my staff position retired, understandably; and that I lost a bid on eBay on a Color TV Game (Nintendo's FIRST home console, the only one I needed to finish my collection)

So it hasn't been a very great past few days for my electronic life. Things are looking better now, I have Linux (which I now see is FAR superior than Windows or Mac, unless you need something really user friendly); explore it's apps and capabilities is a blast. And I'll try to work my way to staff again, I'm shooting myself for loosing it.

Sorry to hear that you have bad days in the past week, but be hopeful for that everyday something new can happen in your life. It also sucks that you lost a bid on eBay.

I forgot to mention that my brother and I have been practicing a lot for a band we made up, just the 2 of us. Actually that's one of the reasons I got Linux, it has TONS of great free sound editing and creating programs. So I've been busy with that too.

As for your staff spot.... I'm not in charge of it or anything, but I would push heavily for you to come back if your activity comes back significantly over the next couple weeks. You were a solid mod and I would like to bring you back.
