But Killswitch isn't Emo... meh, the only one.
Anywho, I've only been to three concerts in my life, which I shall list now:
January 13, 2001: Marilyn Manson - Guns, Gods, and Government World Tour at Universal Ampitheater in Hollywood, CA. My first concert, and like an idiot I forgot my glasses. It was a kick ass show, opening band was Godhead and they so kicked ass. Manson himself was amazing, I stood the entire time. No mosh pit for me, I was too far back, yet still close... only thing that bothered me was someone lighting up skunk weed, gods that s*** smells.
June 30, 2001: Ozzfest 2001 at Glen Helen Blockbuster (now Hundai) Pavillion in Devore, CA. I missed the opening bands like Otep, Mudvayne, and Godhead, but I got there when the headliners were going on. Walked in just in time to hear Zack Wyld of Black Label Society say that Fred Durst of Limp Bizkit sucks dick. It was a kick ass show, even though I was stuck in the lawn section. Manson and Black Sabbath were the big headliners that year, with Manson going on at just after sundown. I pushed forward as much as I could, and was like 10 feet from the moshpit around a bonfire, so there was smoke everywhere, but I didn't care because Manson was on. Nearly got in a fight with a 40+ year old guy saying s*** about Manson and was backed up by two Army guys, it was great! Black Sabbath was so awesome, I still can't believe I saw them live. All in all I saw, in order: Black Label Society, Disturbed, Crazy Town (sucks), Linkin Park, Papa Roach, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, and Black Sabbath.
March 6, 2004: An Evening with Dream Theater at the Pantageas Theater in Hollywood, CA. I went with my friend Pat (AnimeRPJunkie if you remember him), and it was to date the best concert I've been to. Tenth anniversary of their first album, so they played the entire thing, and surprised the entire crowd by bringing out the original singer for that album. Pat nearly had an heart attack (he got me into them). It was so cool... gods the drummer is awesome! I shocked Pat when I told him it was the best concert I've been to, since he knows I'm the uber Manson fan, but yeah.
