Well, first off, the first song that I ever heard was (I think) an old chinese folk song, at least according to my memories of music.
What song brought me to music was a remix, and a song from Eminem. So, what was the first song you ever listened to/brought you to music?

I have absolutely no idea what the very first song I heard was, but we used to have the Rocky Horror Picture Show cassette, and my parents would play in in the car all the time because I loved it. This was when I was about three. But that's the earliest I can remember listening to music.

Searching through my memories, it was either "Lady Marmalade" by Christina Aguilera,P!nk, Lil' Kim & Mýa or "Radio" by Madonna (I thought it was P!nk until now). When I was little P!nk was the only thing I listened to. My favorite type of music has always been pop, but over the last 2 years, it became Rock.

I don't know the first one ever, but i remember when i was 8 and liked country music, my mother was watching a garth brooks concert on TV, i watched it and he never played my favorite song which made me mad.
Next day i was in the car with my dad, and the song came on (he liked rock but listened to country for me) and i told him to switch it to a rock station; he picked 100.5 "the fox rocks". The radio personality was just fading off and there was about a 5 second pause... so the first thing i heard was... "The world is a vampire..." so the first rock song i really listened to was "bullet with butterfly wings" by smashing pumpkins. I thought it was amazing, although i have gotten out of grunge, and alt rock, that song holds a special place now.
