Here we are! The first Final Boss Fights 1 poll! It's a little thing I will start to do. Every month, I will post a poll featuring 2 (sometimes more) final bosses that will fit the theme I choose. Now, this will count for half of May and half of June because I wanted to get this started. Next one will start in July, then August, then blah blah blah. Gig is, if your final boss pick wins by the end of the month (But this time the chosen final boss will be picked at June 20th), I will pick a random member who chose the winning final boss to win and give that person 400 Viz! I know it's a little much, but this is mainly for fun!

GIYGAS, FROM EARTHBOUND/MOTHER 2!!!!



Giygas has been passed down generations for being a scary/creepy as hell final boss. He morphs around a lot, he takes the form of a human fetus in his second form, he comes out of NOWHERE in an E rated game, and he is a red screaming face that has been rescarified, and believe me, after seeing this picture, you will think they did a pretty good job.

EVIL OTTO, FROM BERZERK!!! (Note: I count Evil Otto as a final boss because he is close enough to be the final boss.)



What makes an 8-Bit smiley face so scary you ask? Evil Otto is scary due to him being a little creepy, and being able to gmod in Berzerk. The real reason he is so scary is that he ACTUALLY KILLED 2 TEENAGERS IN REAL LIFE. After the 2 teenagers posted high scores on Berzerk, they somehow died of heart attacks. Evil Otto watched them die, with a smile on his face. He became a feared one.

Who do you think is scarier?
I myself will not vote.
If I DID vote, I would go for Giygas.

I say Giygas, the background, the music, the dialogue. All creepy and makes you not want to even try to beat it. I couldn't play my SNES for days and had nightmares for weeks after fighting that boss. I NEVER expected that kind of thin in an E rated game. Ugh. The fetus thing creeped me out a little too, but what I didn't like. Is that ALL of his attacks are inexplicable and made me wonder to heal or not. But I didn't know I had to pray to win. Realizing after about 10 minutes of beating the crap out of it, and NOTHING happening. Either way creepy. It creeped me out when "my call was absorbed by the darkness". What made it worse was I was almost dead too. It was a little hard, and a LOT creepy.

supersudowoodo : Tell me about it. After seeing what Giygas looked like and his third form theme, the first though I had in mind was Never Play Earthbound. EVER. I could not sleep easily for days after that. +_+

Gigyas isn't that scary, and I finished Earthbound as a kid.

Evil Otto on the other hand is a whole different story, what makes him scary is how he will random appear in a room and you have to run for your life, the effect is even better in the dark.

I would have voted for Giygas myself.

i am definatly going to vote on giygas on this one. i have several reasons for this. first off, he popped outta a GAME FOR KIDS! i mean how scary would this be for your average 10 yr old to finally arrive at the final stage and hes all exited to finally see giygas and BAM! he sees that thing pop out at the tv screen. oh and the music... it still haunts me. plus i dunno if u guys know this or not but the first time i fought him i somehow kept playing to the second phase and i saw a picture in between the lines. and you know what i saw? an infant.... so not only are you fighting a red scary face with an overstretched bottom lip but now its an infant? how did that happen in the first place? besides, we dont even WHAT giygas actually is! and the way he talked.... i just wanna shoot the guy that came up with giygas...

Giygas 100%. Why do you think I have this backround if I didn't think he was the ultimate final boss. The messed up part of it is that he comes from an E-rated game. Mother sets up the Giygas character but you never expect him to become pure evil.

Giygas has always wierded me out significantly. I don't really find him scary or creepy, but wierd, definetly.

Giygas all the way. He's not really scary, but he is creepy as all hell. Human fetus transformation, saying the most random/weirdest things, what else is creepy.
