Could something be blocking it like spyware or something?

Well anythings a possbility but we know for sure that somethings blocking his connection to the host.

Edit: By teh rare chance it is.. this would be some crazy ass spyware cuz i've never seen spyware that spreads itself across a network.

Neither have I but I dont want to rule anything out unless we're 100%. Maybe we'll know more once David gets a reply from his host.

Also contacting his ISP couldn't hurt.

I found a little way to get onto the Board, BUT, the pages load slowly, and when I go to reply to a thread, it takes even LONGER to load (20-30 seconds for a reply page to load).
I also cannot Login, so that means I cannot check any of my PMs, use any of my powers, and I cannot access the private forums

Anyways, what I'm doing is, I'm using an Online website Translator, and I input my message board's url. I choose English as the source langauge and English as the Target...it than loads my website all translated (in english), and when I click a link, it translates that page for me aswell.
I'm surprised it actually works, but I think I have an idea of how it works, I think the site loads up on THEIR (their as in, the translator) server, and than sends me the result page, which means, I'm not actually connecting Directly to the board.

And just so you all know, I cannot access rcthost.com either, (the host which hosts my site), so I'm not IP banned from my own board or anything.

Anyways, don't expect to much posting out of me, becuase this is really a pain using this thing But it lets me look at the board, and keeps me up to date as to whats going on.

Just picture me as that handy-cap kid in your Phy Ed class lol

Geeze, i was just trying to put an idea out there. I was working on my dads computer and some software he installed completely blocked his access to the internet, but he was still connected to the net and was able to ping sites. So i didn't know if that was a possibility.

I cannot access the site from my home PC aswell. I think it may have something to do with spyware as i know i have a few on my home PC that i can't seem to get rid of.

oh well.... i guess i can always post from school.

Yea yours is just really strange, honestly ive never come across a problem like this on any machine ive ever used.

My schools comps have a neat system we can lockdown any user so that they can only open specific apps in a specific amount of time. or they just cant open anything at all, ultimate control.

My schools comps were chained to the tables because one year someone stole 20+ computers, how in the world does someone get away with 20+ computers...in my opinion I think it was the janitors...

There are some really smart theifs out there

Anyways, I think I might just look into getting a new host...I'll look around and several hosts, but I have hardly any money, so I wont be able to get the money for it for a while

WOWsers. It has to be your computer right? Or your actual connection. Because If everyone else can get to the site fine. Mabey try using a different web browser

Simple...it wouldn't. Definitely sounds like the ISP to me... The host seems ok... They're not the best, but oh well. David, if you do switch, look into M6.net, ok?

That is why I said it sounded like the ISP. The router was ok so the ISP seems most likely to me. You may want to contact your ISP David.

Also just a thought have you tried deleting your temporary internet files and cookies? It doesn't seem like that is why though since your dad's comp can't get here either. So I have to stick with ISP or Router. Are there any ports blocked by your router? Can you go to any other pages hosted by host?

Ok, I am able to get on.

I downloaded a program which lets me surf online annonymously, because my IP, somehow, isn't allowed on Rcthost.com and my website

But yeah, I am officially able to get on

Then trying logging into your host and using the c-panel to delete any blocked IP addresses. My original theory was that you ended up with one of the blocked addresses.

But I dont understand how that would block me from RCthost.

And about this anonymous thing, it makes surfing the board a bit slower than it usually is, so I wont be as active as I previously was. BUT, I can now login, so I have full controll once again.

I wasnt 100% sure about that either, if the blocked ip's are blocked from the host totally or just the hosted site.

MichaelVash makes sense, its good that you regained full control but to solve the problem totally you should probly goto your ISP.

I demoted John do Full mod, since it isn't necessary for him to be admin anymore.
